Would you benefit from some companionship?

The Berrycroft Companions are a very organised and dedicated team of patients, offering up their time to meet with you for a chat over a cuppa and a biscuit* or a local, 30-45 minute walk in the community.

Where? Meeting in the Community Space to the right of our reception desk on the ground floor.

When? 10am to 12 noon, on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.  Please note that there will be no meetings or walks during the month of August.

You don't need to book your place, please just join us on the day.

*Some products may be supplied and baked by the companions.

Patient Participation Group (PPG)

The PPG is a forum that promotes patient involvement in the running and improvement of Berrycroft Community Health Centre.  Its aim is to strengthen ties between the health centre and the individuals that rely on it.

The PPG has a vital role in promoting and improving our local NHS.  Key to this is our belief that we, as patients, cannot simply rely on an overstretched NHS workforce to do this on their own.  Our PPG can, and will, make sue of the skills and determination of our members and the wider patient community to drive Berrycroft Community Health Centre to excellence.  Forging connections with Berrycroft Companions and the newly formed Friends of Berrycroft Charity will further enhance the strength of the group and make better outcomes possible.

This is an exciting time for our local NHS and we would urge everyone to consider participating.  A re-launch is being planned so watch out for announcements.
